التحدي الحالي
People with moderate to severe COPD often keep having flare-ups even while using their regular inhalers, and each flare-up can further damage the lungs and lower quality of life.
ما يأمل الباحثون في اكتشافه
Whether adding Depemokimab, an investigational add-on medicine, to standard inhaler treatment can reduce how often flare-ups happen in adults with COPD who have signs of a specific type of airway inflammation.
كيف قد يساعد هذا العلاج
If effective, Depemokimab may lower the number and severity of flare-ups over time, on top of the inhalers a participant is already using.
Checks confirm you meet the study's health criteria
Starting point measurements are recorded before treatment begins
You continue your usual inhalers, with the study medicine or placebo added
A final check-in after treatment ends
1.Learn about the study
Read through what's involved and ask any questions
2.Screening visit
The study team checks your health history and current COPD status
3.Find out if you qualify
Based on your seizure (COPD, not seizures) based on your lung function and exacerbation history
4.Start treatment
Begin receiving the study medicine alongside your usual inhalers
5.Regular check-ins
The study team monitors your symptoms and any flare-ups
6.Study completion
A final visit wraps up your participation
For check-ups and study medicine administration
The study medicine is an add-on, not a replacement
Let the study team know if your symptoms worsen
